Simply Beautiful

Last week I took some pictures of Miss Avery in Landon's beautiful garden.
I am really happy with how they turned out!

Avery is 'Simply Beautiful' and Landon's garden is 'Simply Beautiful' as well!

The Clark 3

Just wanted to share some pictures I took while babysitting the "Clark 3" for the first time!

This is a super cute video of Hallie talking to/about 'Baby Hallie' before she was born.

...My Addictions....

As many of you know I have many things I'm 'addicted' to. No, it's nothing bad... well maybe some of them are bad for me, but nothing major!!

Many of you have contributed to me addictions :) Don't get me wrong, they could be worse...

My #1 addiction is Diet Coke.
It's so bad, I have to have at least two a day or I go crazy!!
(This one is all my Aunts fault!)

#2- Skittles

Oh, Skittles... This is a new one. Anytime i think about skittles, my mouth starts to water and I have to eat some... or I can't stop thinking about them and my mouth keeps watering... Is that bad?

#3- Coffee...
Not just any coffee... HEB coffee, that you can only get in TX, of course!
I've been told I drink more creamer than coffee, but I think that could be up for debate! :)

#4- "Sprunch Spray"
Oh, how I love Sprunch Spray. I have a MAJOR issue with this. I could use a whole bottle in one day, if I'm not careful. I love this stuff, it really works, but if you're not careful your hair will be VERY, VERY curly, very, very quick!

#5- After Sun location.
This is one of my newest addictions. I feel like when I get a little color... I better 'milk in for all it's worth'.
I don't know if this stuff helps, but I sure use it like it does!!

#6- My camera
I have it with me every where I go. Some people even ask if it's attached to my hand!
(Not really sure who this came from...)

#7- Sonic Cherry Limeades
This is another new addiction. When I pull up to Sonic, I have to sit there and debate... Diet Coke w/ Lime... or Cherry Limeade... 9/10 I get a Cherry Limeade. My thought is I can do Diet Coke w/ Lime at home.... but not so much a Cherry Limeade!!

The Small Things (People) in Life

These are some pictures of Little Miss Avery and me taken during VBS.
You will notice that at first she was not very happy to have to picture taken, but as time went on, she seems to be coming around!

I absolutely love this girl, she is such a blessing to everyone who knows her.
I was able spend some one-on-one time with her this past Sunday at church. When Avery came in the room, everyone came over and was talking and looking at her. Needless to say, we totally overwhelmed her. She started screaming and crying. I got her out of her carrier, and tried to rock her, didn't work. Tried walking and bouncing her, didn't work. I then sat her down to change her diaper and IMMEDIATELY she stopped crying and began smiling and laughing. Oh man, if something as small as 'having your diaper changed' would make me happy!

Once I was done changing her, I sat down and started to talk to her. Then I started thinking and something hit me really hit me hard.
She isn't worried about what tomorrow will bring, if she will get her homework done, or if she will be able to make it home without running out of gas!
Her biggest worry is, when she gets to eat next and when she gets to sleep!

Racking my brain, I sat there and thought about how I need to just take some time and sit back, push out all the 'craziness' in my life and really just enjoy the 'small things in life', like having your diaper changed! :)

Love you sweet Avery. Thank you for reminding me to slow down and just enjoy life!
